Digital IDs and biometrics: the post-pandemic travel experience

The coronavirus pandemic brought travel to a screeching halt and all but wiped out the industry. Now, as countries begin to reopen borders, the question is how to get people moving again. Christoph Wolff, an expert on mobility at the World Economic Forum, predicts travel in the future will involve less contact, with digital IDs and biometrics gaining importance. Airlines and airports may also start asking people for health credentials, he says.
