“Sugar kills. Eating too much can lead to high blood pressure, diabetes, heart attacks, and cancer. But that’s not all: It harms our well-being, too. Hidden sugars in foods we think are good for us also reduce our energy levels and disrupt our sleep patterns. Nutritional therapist Sabine van ‘t Hart-Orbello leads an online sugar awareness movement and says it’s not about eliminating sugar altogether but about making smart decisions over what we consume. CNNMoney Switzerland’s Feeling Good team found out why she wants you to enjoy a sweeter life with less sugar in it.
